Hellman has also curated numerous art shows in New York, including the legendary Cartoon Show at Max Fish, a yearly event which brought NYC’s cartooning community together for over a decade.
Legal Action Comics Volume Two’s preceding volume, (2001’s LAC Vol.1) was initially conceived as a fund-raiser to benefit his legal defense fund.
